Texted Back (“we”, “us”) provides a missed-call text-back service for Australian trade businesses. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
To deliver the service (texting missed callers, forwarding replies to the business you called), to bill our clients, to send service and account messages, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers who help us operate: Twilio (SMS, missed-call detection, and outbound acquisition calling), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and our hosting provider. Some providers process data outside Australia; we only use providers with appropriate safeguards.
Reply STOP to any message from us and you will not hear from us again — suppression is applied immediately and checked before every send. Outreach calls and messages are made in line with the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 and the Spam Act 2003.
Lead and message data is retained while the client's account is active. Consent records are kept for 6 years. Data is stored in access-controlled systems and encrypted in transit.
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@textedback.com.au. If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
